How to determine your screen screen type. Measure out a 1" x 1" square. Take a photo with your phone, count the amount of holes in each direction. These 2 numbers are your screen type. Please give us a call if you have any questions, let us help make this process simple.

Standard Phifer 18/14 screen, allows for clear views. Stops most all insects except No-see-ums. 18/14 means the amount of holes in 1 square inch. 18 in one direction 14 in the other.

Phifer 20/20 screen, allows for a good views, comes with smaller holes, higher strength, even stops the tiniest of insects. Great for stopping pine needles from hanging through. 20/20 means the amount of holes in 1 square inch. 20 in one direction 20 in the other.

Phifer 16/14 tuff screen is exactly that, Tuff. As you can see it still has a good view through the screen. This is one of our heaviest duty screens that we sell. 16/14 means the amount of holes in 1 square inch. 16 holes in one direction 14 in the other.

Super Screen 17/14 is another one of our heavy duty screens. 17/14 means the amount of holes in 1 square inch. 17 in one direction and 14 in the other. Also available in 17/20 and 20/20
